Episode 2: Mark's Story

Hi, I'm Rebecca, and I'm back with another story from our customer care line, one that reminded all of us here just how deeply a scent can hold a memory.

This call was from Mark, who reached out after ordering one of our anointing oils.

He opened up by telling us how the oil reminded him of his grandmother, she used to anoint him with oil growing up, a quiet little blessing ritual that was just theirs. He described it simply: a small dab warmed between her palms, then pressed gently to his forehead, his wrists, sometimes the back of his neck, always with a few words of blessing before he headed out the door for the day.

As he talked, his voice softened. He told us his grandmother passed away a few years ago, and that he misses her more than words can really capture. But he said that using our anointing oil, the scent, the ritual of applying it the way she used to, has helped him feel closer to her again. Like a small piece of her is still with him every morning.

We didn't have much to say back except thank you, Mark for trusting us with something so personal, and for letting a small bottle of oil carry something so big.
